I like how considerate Thor is. I like the fact that Thor… he was thinking about Valkyrie, he was just like, “I’ll go off and not only get a weapon. I’ll go get some clothes for her as well, to inspire her. Give her a sense of place. Help her get her identity back. She’s been running from the truth and running from her past.” He’s just given her an opportunity to embrace it, to acknowledge who she is. She’s a Valkyrie.
#this scene is SO on point #and it is SO much better than a kiss #which would have made me cringe #because it would be totally out of character #even for Thor IMO #because he has so much respect for Val #and being a gentleman #he would never have tried to do something he knows she is not ready for #and truth be told up until this point he cannot know she likes him #of course there is lots of chemistry and sexual tension between them #but he knows deepdown she is quite fragile #although she does not show it #he does not want to push her #because he knows she is not ready #I said it twice #I am rambling #god I love this ship #so much potential #thorkyrie
btw what I loved about valkyrie’s plot in Ragnarok is that it was such a male plot usually? she rolls up drunk, shoots up a bunch of people, owns thor, sells him, then we realise she is drowning her sorrows and is actually a fallen hero, and she then gets a redemption ark???? is that not every male outlaw with a heart of gold???
Omg I said this same thing when I first saw the movie! Totally agree!
my favorite thing about this is that each of them is walking in a different direction, it’s like these girls are off to conquer the entire goddamn world
They’re gonna meet in the middle
In the middle they will find the avatar, master of all elements and the force:
