Chances of a captain going on a suicide mission:
Picard: 20% – orders crew on suicide mission, angsts about dead guy’s wife for 35 years.
Sisko: 50% – goes on mission, mystical beings intervene.
Archer: 70% – unless it’s about revenge, then 100%.
Kirk: 85% – never believes it’s a suicide mission.
Janeway: 110% – especially if she’s certain it’s a suicide mission.

Klingons are doing this better than humans.
I’ve said it before: It makes total sense that Klingons are good at this. What are Klingons all about? HONOR.
Calling someone by a name they don’t want to be called? Misgendering them? That’s showing that you don’t respect them. You’re saying their identity is without honor.
Klingons are the kind of Warriors who’d pull out a sword or a knife when you misgender them or one of their friends, and demand you correct your mistake immediately. One way or another, you will not be doing that again, and if they have to shed the blood of some disrespectful petaQ? SO BE IT.
Klingons are the ultimate trans ally.
