The way he looks at her…
Tulip having Jesse break down the bathroom door was so meaningful and perfect.
She’d never admit it, of course, but she likes to be reminded of the things he’d do for her. It’s just like how raw and emotional she was just from the knowledge that he would throw everything away for her to kill Carlos, and how she was happy with the thought alone. It’s easy to assume plenty of people gave up on her when she was young, her mother, her teachers, her foster parents, but Jesse always pulled through for her.
Dallas happened, of course, and it’s almost like she was just really making sure he would break literal doors down to get to her, ‘till the end of the world, and that’s so sweet to me??? Like her expression was so vulnerable at first before he broke the door down and then she has that sweet lil smile like “that’s my man.” Like Dominic said, they don’t function mundanely, and that’s what makes them so unique.
