Because I love Niles so much, do you have any favorite quotes from him, overall? For me, the delivery is always similar to my own so I typically don’t laugh as much as I appreciate his general awkwardness. I’m not the only one.
Just off the top of my head:
- “Her lips said no, but her eyes said, ‘Read my lips’.”
- “Her desk folds out?!” (Also in general every time he misses the point and asks a stupid question.)
- That long quote where he reads from his diary in The Maris Counselor: “This one’s hard to read… Oh, right! ‘Wept uncontrollably.’”
- “I had a dream my flour sack was abducted, and the kidnappers started sending me muffins in the mail.”
