So you know this scene…

I always found it a bit odd. Hilarious, but it raised too many questions. When did Steve make these? Why did Steve make these? How did he manage to be so cheesy and overly sincere knowing how much crap he would get from the other Avengers for it?

Well, today my sister told me her headcanon. Picture the scene. Steve leans on the back of a chair, as above. Peter immediately launches into ‘So, you got detention…’. Cap blinks. Peter awkwardly tries to explain. It turns out Cap has no idea what videos he means, and neither do any of the other Avengers.

So they get in touch with the company who made them, and they swear blind that it was really the real Captain America, and that it all his idea. That he came in and said how much he wanted to help the youth of today. And the Avengers all lose it because someone is running around doing an unbelievably good impression of Captain America, they could have destroyed his reputation, they could have infiltrated the Avengers; and instead all they are apparently using it for is to make silly, embarrassing videos.

It’s completely baffling. Who could possibly be behind it all?

A mystery.

Oh. My. God!

Xena – Wonder Woman Headcanon

girl4music:

peanutbutterclydesdale:

Gabrielle, while understanding Xena’s final act of redemption (staying dead at the end of the series), is heartbroken. Though she soldiers on, the pain in her heart and the empty spot in her soul plague her every day.

The gods (remaining gods? God? I don’t remember what shape the pantheon is in at the last episode) take pity on her and, as a reward for her great heroism, faith in humanity through everything she’s seen, and as an acknowledgement of Xena’s redemption, grant Gabrielle a child, born of “the merging of these two great souls”.

Gabrielle raises the child among the Amazons, who she eventually comes to lead. At an unspecified time, the amazons retreat from the world.

Gabrielle’s (spiritual?) bloodline remains royalty right up into the 1900′s. People are named after old heroes from time to time, as per usual. One of Gabrielle’s royal line is named Hippolyta, who (of course) has a daughter. Diana.

Thus, Diana is Xena and Gabrielle’s great great great (x number of greats) grandchild.

Gabby gotta have another child somewhere because Janice is a descendant. I like the idea. Was it Aphrodite that granted her a child?

theory: “mamma mia!” (2008) and “kingsman: the secret service” (2014) take place in the same universe

my evidence?

colin firth.

in “mamma mia!”, which is arguably set in the 90s, he plays:

  • an englishman named harry
  • whose last name is not known
  • who demonstrates an affinity for aliases (”harry headbanger”)
  • who lives in london
  • who works as a banker which sounds fake
  • isn’t “spontaneous”
  • is gay

in “kingsman: the secret service,” where the main story is arguably set in 2014, he plays:

  • an englishman named harry
  • whose last name is now revealed to be hart
  • who demonstrates a penchant for aliases (”galahad”)
  • who lives in london
  • who is actually a secret agent…which he has to lie about and tell people he’s some boring job like a banker
  • can’t afford to be spontaneous bc he’s a secret agent and if he doesn’t plan things out he will probably die
  • tells a random woman that he’s gay (among other things) (he’s implied to be lying but literally nothing in the film indicates that anything in the line where he says that is not true)

CONCLUSION: Harry from “Mamma Mia!” and Harry from “Kingsman: The Secret Service” are the same person. The opening scene (before it jumps to “17 years later”) of Kingsman takes place, at most, a few years apart from the events of “Mamma Mia!” Also, Harry Hart is gay. Thank you for your time.

In The Road to El Dorado there is only really one inexplicable thing within the plot. Miguel and Tulio plausibly bluff their way through or slip out of most situations. However, I’d never figured out why the volcano actually stops erupting when Tulio commands it.

The conclusion I finally came up with is that the actual gods were watching their big entrance go down, and thought “oh, this’ll be hilarious

I have never accepted a head canon so quickly.

My Cordelia Chase Theory

spikesjojo:

carry-on-my-wayward-wesley:

So
there was someone on TvTropes who suggested that Cordelia may have been
a Potential Slayer, and it actually makes a lot of sense when you think
about it. From the beginning, she was always kind of a magnet for weird
things—even more so than the average Sunnydale resident, I mean. She
made a connection with Buffy right away, and even after Buffy started
hanging out with the “losers” and Cordelia wrote her off as a freak, she
still kept finding herself inexplicably drawn to the Scoobies, to the
point where she eventually gave up her popularity in favor of fighting
the good fight, without ever fully understanding why she was compelled
to do so. And since Cordy was in a coma when Willow cast the spell to
turn all the Potentials into Slayers, it had no effect on her.

My theory builds off of that, and of course it has to do with Wesley. I
have this notion that Watchers are mystically drawn to the Slayers
they’re meant to guide (one could easily make a case for that just by
looking at Buffy and Giles’ relationship). So when Cordelia walked into
the library in “Consequences,” she and Wesley immediately felt this
energy drawing them to each other. Since nobody knew Cordy was a
Potential, she and Wesley both just assumed that the chemistry they felt
was romantic. One extremely awkward kiss later, they realized they were
better as friends and parted ways amiably. But less than a year later,
they were drawn back together in a completely different city, and this
was when their relationship began to develop into what it was meant to
be. They were always very in sync with and attuned to each other,
especially in the second and early third seasons. The only time they
weren’t was when Cordelia was possessed by Jasmine in season 4.

Finally, right near the end of “You’re Welcome,” as Wesley is getting on
the elevator, Cordelia calls out to him and says “You still work the
best mojo in town.” She obviously couldn’t say goodbye to everyone without raising their suspicions, and she needed to spend her last few corporeal moments with Angel, so I love that out of everyone else, she
singled out Wesley to say one last thing to. Because while Angel may have been Cordelia’s champion, Wesley was her best friend. But I digress, slightly. Anyway, last time I watched it, I
focused on Wesley’s response—he doesn’t say anything, but pay attention
to the look on his face…he knows. Somehow he knows that this is the
last time he’ll ever see her. I think it’s because he’s still very
attuned to her, even after everything. If Cordelia hadn’t ended up in a
coma—if she’d been alive, awake, and fully herself when Willow did the
spell—her Slayer powers would have been activated, and Wesley would
have (unofficially since those sods on the Council don’t like him
anymore) become her Watcher.

head canon approved!
