I love this!!!!

HELL YES

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH

Not gonna lie, if this was the kinda of representation I saw growing up, I would of not have thought that I needed to already be a good weight and healthy to partispitate in physical activity.

👏👏👏

never forget that the deadpool movie had a female character with super strength and they actually cast a buff woman to play her

her name is gina carano and she’s a professional mma fighter……dont ever forget how much right deadpool did by its female characters

I swear to various gods I didn’t even notice she was topless in that last one, I was so distracted by the abs and the incoming kick

I like how considerate Thor is. I like the fact that Thor… he was thinking about Valkyrie, he was just like, “I’ll go off and not only get a weapon. I’ll go get some clothes for her as well, to inspire her. Give her a sense of place. Help her get her identity back. She’s been running from the truth and running from her past.” He’s just given her an opportunity to embrace it, to acknowledge who she is. She’s a Valkyrie.

#this is THE scene #like if they went the basic route they wouldve 100% kissed right here #but for once they actually gave a shit about the female character #and i love it #like if they kissed it would make sense from thors perspective bc hes been crushing on her the whole time #but for once they gave a shit about the woman #and it wouldnt have made sense for valkyrie #shes still traumatized #but when she calls him back like ‘your majesty dont die’ #thats SO much #like that whole part is from Her perspective #the shot is over Her shoulder #like after she was so adamant about being aloof #she calls him back just bc she wanted him to know she did care!!!! #which is ALOT for her to admit #after how much she lost #like bitch im crying #thorkyrie (via @petermaximoff )

#this scene is SO on point #and it is SO much better than a kiss #which would have made me cringe #because it would be totally out of character #even for Thor IMO #because he has so much respect for Val #and being a gentleman #he would never have tried to do something he knows she is not ready for #and truth be told up until this point he cannot know she likes him #of course there is lots of chemistry and sexual tension between them #but he knows deepdown she is quite fragile #although she does not show it #he does not want to push her #because he knows she is not ready #I said it twice #I am rambling #god I love this ship #so much potential #thorkyrie

Assault on Precinct 13.

Just discovered one of my new heroes. Laurie Zimmer as “Leigh” from Assault on Precinct 13 (director. John Carpenter). Amazing cool and calm badass woman who is treated like an equal by every man in the film. Her gender isn’t even mentioned once and even when there is a hint of romance it feels earned and real – hell, I was falling in love with her too.

“If any superhero won 2017, it was Wonder Woman. In yet another year when movies were punctuated by superheroes, none shined brighter than Diana Prince, played by Gal Gadot. And while the movie contained many great moments, there was none more powerful and defining than the scene where Wonder Woman charges through “No Man’s Land.” What’s brilliant about this scene is that it’s not only representative of Diana standing up for what she believes in, it’s compassion, determination, inspiration, and love rolled into one moment: Diana is taking fire and protecting those who can’t protect themselves. And she’s doing it with a small smirk that sharpens on her lips, as if she knows she’s got this. It crystallizes Wonder Woman’s heroism in such a beautiful way that as of that moment, you don’t need to know anything about the character’s past to understand her. This amazing scene tells you all you need to know about Wonder Woman’s place in the world.” – Wonder Woman’s “No Man’s Land” scene was the best superhero moment of 2017
