Meersburg Castle on the Bodensee (Lake Constance) in Baden-Württemberg, Southwestern Germany, is the oldest inhabited castle in Germany. Its central tower was first built during the 7th century, though the original structure is no longer visible.

The gardens and the castle were empty. I managed to shut off my mind for few hours and simply enjoy myself in the moment, I need to spend more often such quality time.
You can climb up the central tower, which has a spiral staircase made from the most delicate cast iron steps, which look as if they were made from lace – nothing for people with fear of heights.
