Loki:… where was I? He needs to make a grand sacrifice and nobody is there expect you, how did that not ring a bell??

Gamora: Listen up, Mr, Chokey! He was still a father figure to me, no matter how messed up his parenting was.

Loki: That nickname was rude and unnecessary. My feelings are hurt and my heart is broken!

Vision: Just like your neck *smiles softly*

Loki *outrageously turns to Vision* I thought robots didn’t have a sense of humor

Vision: I thought gods put up more of a fight

Gamora: Oh my god. Please someone take me out again!

Loki: Look, the risk I took was calculated but something went wrong along the way… to be honest, it could have been worse.

Gamora: Your math was so bad you got your neck broken. How is that not the worst thing that could have happened?

Loki: Well for one, I didn’t get thrown off a cliff, which is nice..

Gamora: *rolls eyes*

Loki: Two, the absence of my brother means he survived, which is great. And three, despite your bad jokes, you are really nice company.

Vision: If I could blush, I would have blushed.

Loki: So Mr. Vision or “The Vision”? What is even your first name? “The” or “Vision”? I heard you were in a romantic relationship with a human girl. How does that feel considering you being a robot and her being a human? I am really curious

Vision: I’ll answer your question if you answer mine. How does it feel to be impregnated by horse?

Loki: I am not curious anymore

Anyone else stoked about how intimate and completely in love the two were? Paul and Elizabeth’s chemistry cannot be understated in this movie.

  • The way they always need to be touching each other
  • Vision kissing her hand lovingly before Wanda’s “I just feel you”
  • The cutest, most fluffiest, “I am completely in love with you” kiss
  • Quite literally being so head over heels, that they can’t stop holding hands and spending time together
  • “These two years, stealing moments to see if it could work, and it does, it works right?”
  • “Yeah ☺️, it works” (So can we get some flashbacks? Like their first kiss? The first time they met up after the Civil War fiasco? MARVEL I WILL PAY YOU!)
  • Vision wanting to do anything, even break his promise to tony, to stay with the love of his life
  • “We both made promises”, “But not to each other”
  • Wanda probably would have broken her promise to team cap to stay with Vision, the love of her life, if they weren’t so rudely interrupted
  • How protective Wanda is over injured Vision in combat
  • “We probably should’ve stayed in bed” -and people, we all know what they’ve probably done in bed
  • “Hands off” my man bitch ass motherfuckers 🙅🏽‍♀️
  • I don’t know why, but I love the image of Wanda flying with Vision
  • It was a small moment, but when they were falling through the skylights of the train station, he grabbed Wanda to cushion her fall and make sure he hit the glass first
  • Vision telling Wanda to leave him at the train station because he doesn’t want her getting hurt or killed
  • Vision loves touching Wanda’s face and loves her touching his face and I am not complaining
  • “You asked me to stay, so I stay”
  • Wanda willing to potentially die protecting Vision
  • Wanda never leaving Vision’s side from Edinburgh to Wakanda, until the battle got desperate and she needed to help
  • And then even after that, rushing right back to his side
  • Her refusing to destroy the stone, and then only doing it because Vision pleaded with her to do so
  • “It shouldn’t be you, but it is” -Vision literally trying to comfort Wanda before doing it, because he knows how much they love each other and he knows how much Wanda has already lost
  • “It’s okay, you could never hurt me”
  • Vision: “I just feel you”
  • Vision screaming in agonizing pain and Wanda having to watch every second of it with tears streaming down her face (ITS NOT OK)
  • Wanda actively destroying the man who is her soulmate, and who she has been deeply connected with, ever since he began dreaming in Age of Ultron
  • His last words being “I love you” (Kinda pissed they didn’t have Wanda say it back, but we all know she was thinking it)
  • Her having to kill the love of her life, and then watch him die again (ITS TOO FUCKED UP)
  • Her leaning over Vision’s lifeless body as she fades to dust.

So yeah, I’m still shook because of my OTP’s Greek tragedy, like Fuck. They’re literally the most pure and innocent avengers and they got the most shitstick situation out of all this. Emotionally compromised is not even an adequate description of myself after watching this movie

Part of what we tried to bring to the MCU as film makers on a tonal level … is just a grounding and a real world patina over who these people are, to try and bring out their humanity a little more in contrast to their powers. And this shot is in that vein, in the sense that, it’s a very long shot, we stay in the perspective of these characters as they walk out into Greenwich Village and discover this scene of chaos unfolding. We discover it as they discover it, and the scope of it as they discover it. – The Russo Brothers
