From elegant dresses to luxe outerwear, designer Jason Wu took inspiration from the ‘50s to create pieces that were glamorous, sensual and sophisticated — and cater to various body shapes and sizes.
“Collaborating with Eloquii, the ultimate leading fit experts within the market, was a very exciting process for me to design into the brand’s technical, detailed approach,” Jason Wu told Teen Vogue. “Eloquii really listens to customer feedback and reviews in order to better each fit and get it right.”
Shopping for evening-wear when you’re plus-size has never been an easy task. For decades, designers reserved their elegant, most jaw-dropping pieces for those with thin frames and so, fat people like myself, both women and men, were given no options to choose from. And in my experience, when you’re simply looking to find evening wear that makes you shine and feel exuberant, going to a store and not finding one option that fits can be so disheartening that you choose to not even attend the event at all.
